Re-do of saved blog from memory

So I had a blog I was working on so I could get caught up and well I can't find the saved file.  I had a list of things to put on here but now I think I will just do a simple post and try to keep up from there.  LOL,  I know I won't keep up!
We have be remodeling and trying to keep up with Zander.  The remodel was a lot easier than keeping up with Zander.

This was my favorite part cause I meant we were almost done.

One of Zander's favorite things to do outside is to chase the dog around with the hose.  The laughter is endless.

For awhile there we had a spaceman.  I don't know why but every time he saw the drum he had to empty it and put it on his head.

We had a lot of family come into town this summer,  and I am horrible about remembering my camera so you will have to take my word when I say we do spend time with family.  Zander got to visit with my youngest cousins for the first time and was just beside himself when he got to play with Evan.  Then just a couple weeks later Cody's brothers, one of the sister in- laws and the two wonderful nephews were here.  While the boys were all here it was major construction the whole time.  Wish we would have done more but there is always next year.

The other big news we had to end the summer with is Cody knocked me up.  The funny thing about us getting pregnant when we did is Cody told me "hun, you better go out and have a fun weekend cause I am going to get you pregnant".  I laughed at him and well a month later I was peeing on a stick that started flashing pregnant.  So when Maura made the comment about Cody patting his pecker saying I am the man it fit very well.

Now Halloween, my favorite holiday, has come and gone,  which means Christmas is just around the corner.

Cody really likes the mom boobs I am getting, LOL.  He isn't really going after them here that is just how it looks I promise.
Happy Halloween and welcome fall.  I will try and keep this more up to date But I make no promises.

Busy, busy, busy

I have not made a post on here in a long time so I thought I should do something.  This picture kind of sums up every day with this guy.  Z is growing so dang fast I can't even keep up with him any more.  I am pretty sure he will be taller than me by the time he is 2.  Between chasing him and us remodeling the basement Cody and I are burnt out.  I told him not to allow me to start any other major projects for the next 2 years at least.  On top of the basement I did and addition on the deck and Cody is building a much needed and deserved sand box.  I hope some day this house will make us all happy because otherwise the next remodel will be done with a match and gas.

A little laugh before Z's nap

So Zander has always been a wonderful nap taker and bedtime boy, now he gives me a few giggles before he drifts off to sleep.  The first time this happened Cody had called at lunch, and I let him talk to Z.  For the next ten minutes Zander and I passed laughter back and forth.  I am pretty sure that Cody said something about me that made Z laugh,  so I was probably laughing at myself. LOL  I finally got to the point I couldn't look at him because it would set off another giggle session.  I am so glad I spend the extra few minutes to rock him to sleep because I am sure in a few months he is gonna start going to bed on his own and pushing me away when I try to sneak in an extra squeeze. This was definitely one of those moments I am so glad to share with our little man.  Any hoo, I hope you get a giggle when you watch the video.

Zander's 1st Birthday Party

So we had a real hard time picking which pictures to post, becauseZander has discovered the cheese face.  Every picture we took he gave us such a wonderful smile it made it hard to pick our favorites.  From these pictures you could never tell that at the start of the party Zander thought we where having a home invasion.  He soon realized that he knew everyone and they all brought wonderful gifts for him.  The tears stopped and the smiles came out.

NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER get a smash cake with blue frosting.  These are the words I wish some one would have spoke to me before I bought the cake.  O well Zander loved it and and his dad was there to clean up before it got too bad.

Well it did take awhile for us to get this up to date but I think we got it done, now if I can just find the time to keep up on it.  We have made through the year and have had so many wonderful adventures and learning experiences.  Zander is a walking, talking, teething, cat tackling little man who never fails to amaze us.  I always heard parents say they never thought they could love something so much until they had children and now I know exactly what they all meant.  We love you beyond words little man.  Love your wonderful dad and your amazing, beautiful, and loving mom.

I have no idea why Z is so in love with himself.  Haha

One Big Year

So we were hoping for a wonderful 1st Birthday for our little moose, but the day did not go as planned.  We had to take little man to the doc and found out that he had a double ear infection and a throat infection.  As you can see in the video he does not let things slow him down.  I hope you get the full feel of Zander's Birthday dance.  We love you baby moose and cannot wait to see what this new year has to hold.

I Getting there, promise!

At month 7 Zander decided he was not messing around anymore. From the beginning of Aug. thru the end of Sept. Zander cut 6 teeth and started crawling.  Around Thanksgiving he took his first steps and started cutting more teeth.  Once this little guy puts his mind to something he gets it done and quick.  Months 7 thru 12 went so fast they all kind of mash together.  This house in non stop, gogogogogogo.  It is sad to think that our baby has grown so fast but to see what he has accomplished is amazing.

Half Way There

At the half way marker Zander, Cody and I celebrating with cake and fireworks.  Zander thought the fireworks were okay but the cake was the topper of his hole day.

Way Behind

So I know I should be posting something about Zander's 1st birthday but I wanted to bring things up to date first.  We welcomed Zander into this world Jan. 4th, 2010 at 6:56pm.  The first few months were hard but we marched thru.  When I went back to work my wonderful mother in law watched Zander for us.  Knowing that he was in good hands made it a little easier to go to work but I found myself crying the whole way everyday in had to go in.  When Zander turned 6 months I got to finally say I was a stay at home mom.  Cody told me if I could make things work he would love for me to be at home.  So I made things work, we just don't tell Cody how I got things paid off LOL.
